Jens Arty Life

I've been working on a mixed media piece on canvas. This afternoon I finished it and I like how it turned out. I had a photo as reference for her pretty face and I think I have managed to make it look a bit like her. Sorry, but there are no in progress photos as I got excited and totally forgot to document the steps. She is for sale https://www.etsy.com/listing/222680585/day-dream-mixed-media-original-painting?ref=shop_home_active_1 I hope to do some more for the art show at our local high school in a few months time. I'm entering this in the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge  I think you can see where the 'think pink' comes in .... oh my gosh I love pink. I may do another one before Feb 28th. Thanks for having a look. Jennidee

I love to doodle on pages. I had this painted background which I had no idea what to do with. So I started drawing in black pen and it came to life. I will have to doodle more. It's so much fun.

Today's page is A4 size. I used watercolours for the background, a paper lace doiley as a stencil, an embossing pen and embossing powder to make the flowers (apart from one which commercially made) and more experimenting with ink, this time as a splash/ spray. The quote I found on pinterest and I have no idea who said it, but it just rings so true. I really like the colours on this page. They are bright, but still quite girly. I hope you have enjoyed a peek. Jennidee
